A great week! Paul's home is beautiful. The basement was fun for every generation, including toddlers. Loved the quirky cat and dog pillows. Great attention to detail with furniture placed to optimize mountain views. Highly recommended. Paul was a great communicator.

The house had everything you could want and then more. The kitchen was set up well. Each bathroom had a spa vibe and nice fixtures. We had fun with the karaoke and enjoyed movies on the big screen tv. And we each spent a lot of time sitting on one of the decks enjoying the peace and quiet and the view of the mountains.

Really great stay here! The place is cozy and clean, the fenced in yard is perfect for dogs and yard games, and the karaoke setup was a standout. Easy drive to some beautiful hikes as well. Paul is a responsive and courteous host.

The Getaway Lodge is lovely and has absolutely stunning mountain views! The house was clean and very pet friendly. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

the tranquility and nostalgia were mind blowing. there was so much to do from singing karaoke to watching a movie or playing games. we especially loved the guitar, bass, and vinyl. the backyard activities really brought me back to my childhood. teaching my young adults how to play teatherball to cooking on the grill or chilling by the firepit. our weekend was very memorable and we look forward to returning. Paul went above and beyond

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the occasion. Easy drive, close to town and peaceful. Paul was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again. Beautiful view and we had a few deer come by.

Absolutely love the place, beautiful scenery and overall really nice home. Paul took great care of us and communicated very well. Highly would recommend and look forward to Hopfully staying here again. In terms of value this home is absolutely worth it. Also like to mention the home is very unique, has a ton of stuff to do, and is a great place for any family, friends or overall just to have a great time.

My family and I had such a great stay. The place is spotless and looks just like the photo. The decor was so fun and everything was just so well put together. Very comfy beds and couches and the fenced yard was so perfect for my two dogs to be able to enjoy the outside and play around. I highly recommend booking if it’s available. Truly one of the best stays I’ve had at Airbnb

Paul has done a wonderful job with this Air B&B. We were visiting family and brought our dogs along with us. The fenced back yard was amazing b/c the dogs were able to run and play safely. Fire pit, teether ball, frisbee golf, picnic table and more. Inside the unit was clean and comfortable. Super comfortable beds. Coffee maker was an awesome addition. For anyone visiting the area, we would recommend this stay.

A beautiful place well kept and very clean. We had a lovely stay and had everything we needed to have a nice family vacation. The view is beautiful and it was close to Roanoke which was a fun city to explore we would stay here again
