What a great home for my family’s holiday gathering this year! Paul had a tree and decorations up for us and the house was spotless. The views were amazing with plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy them! The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to prepare food and there was a Food Lion about 15 minutes away to shop. We have musicians in the family and they REALLY enjoyed the music room! So much to do there - from darts to corn hole to building a fire in the fire pit. We really couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience! Paul is friendly, communicative and a great host. Would totally stay there again if we’re in that area!

This is an excellent quality airbnb; you'll feel at home immediately. The home has everything you need, including well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, is very clean and comfortable, and has great heating, decks and spaces to relax. The location is amazing, beautiful mountain views all around, and not too far to drive anywhere. It's very dog friendly too, with green grass and secure fences. Paul was a caring and friendly host who really looks after his guests. I highly recommend this home for a lovely time hiking and sightseeing around the beautiful Blue Ridge/Roanoke area.

Paul thought of things we might have left out! The house was clean, comfortable, and complete. Our bed was perfect. 3 bedrooms accommodated 5 persons generously. The shower has a gritty floor to prevent slipping. One welcome improvement would be a grab bar. Without
one, even a flamingo could not wash her feet!

This home has Breath taking autumn views from the back decks and two of the 3 bedrooms. Perfect place for us to call home base for a couple days while enjoying all that fall has to offer!

Place was beautiful. Host went above and beyond with having the house cleaned and stocked. Lots of linens, pillows, and oooh so comfy beds. Breathtaking scenery. We couldn’t have asked for more! Everything was perfect!!!

This place was exactly what you’d expect with a name like “Funky Grandma’s”. My favorite was the wall of old music players. There were lots of board games and a good selection of records so you’re never bored! Paul was also very quick to respond with any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

A great week! Paul's home is beautiful. The basement was fun for every generation, including toddlers. Loved the quirky cat and dog pillows. Great attention to detail with furniture placed to optimize mountain views. Highly recommended. Paul was a great communicator.

Really great stay here! The place is cozy and clean, the fenced in yard is perfect for dogs and yard games, and the karaoke setup was a standout. Easy drive to some beautiful hikes as well. Paul is a responsive and courteous host.
